Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the visiting Iranian First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi on Thursday attended the inaugural ceremony of luxury Samand sedan car Producing Plant in Syria, under the name of "Siamco".
The joint Samand sedan car Producing Plant is situated at the industrial area of Adra - 36 kilometers from Damascus.
Siamco plans to produce 10,000 "Sham" cars annually, say 40 cars daily. With the completion of the second and third phases of production, 30,000 units will also be produced for export to other countries in the region.
